Senior Applied ML Scientists lead Unlearn’s work to develop state-of-the-art ML approaches for generating Digital Twins – probabilistic models of a patient’s future health outcomes given knowledge of their current and past medical history. Senior Applied ML Scientists at Unlearn come from a wide range of disciplines, and have honed their ML expertise through their previous experience conducting novel and impactful research at top academic and industrial labs or their previous work delivering ML and data-science products in highly ambiguous and challenging commercial settings. Successful Applied ML Scientists at Unlearn are entrepreneurial in their approach; feeling a strong sense of end-to-end ownership of their mission, they investigate broadly to find the right tools and techniques to help their teams succeed. They are also highly determined individuals, powering through problems with cleverness and resolve.

We are looking for an experienced product leader who wants to help build a new, computationally-focused and AI approach to solving important problems in healthcare. The Product Manager will have a broad knowledge base and the ability to converse and collaborate with different types of teams including technology, marketing, and business development, as well as the ability to develop a deep understanding of the problems our customers and users at biopharma companies encounter while running clinical trials. The ideal candidate must also have demonstrated experience with the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.

Biostatisticians lead Unlearn’s work to integrate state-of-the-art ML approaches into the design and analysis of clinical trials. This can be everything from utilizing PROCOVA, a methodology we developed to add power and reduce sample size in phase 2 and 3 trials, to defining and conducting Bayesian or single arm analyses or innovating solutions for custom problems. Biostatisticians at Unlearn work closely with their counterparts at customers as well as broader clinical development teams. We highly value practical experience, the determination and autonomy to own projects end-to-end, and eager collaboration with an excellent and diverse team.
