As the VP of Engineering, you will lead our engineering function, an organization of engineers spanning core engineering, applications, ML/AI Ops, and infrastructure. Engineering plays a critical role in our ability to deliver AI technology through models, applications, and agentic systems, and this role will ensure the potential of AI systems are realized across that technical stack.

This is an execution-focused leadership role, focused on the core engineering systems, software applications, infrastructure, and forward deployment that drive AI-heavy, tech-enabled services. You will partner closely with Product, Delivery, and R&D teams to understand requirements, integrate engineering with our customer delivery teams, and build the platform and tools they use to do their best work.

As the VP of Clinical Solutions, you will lead an organization of scientists and technical leaders across a wide array of active customer projects with different timelines, needs, and opportunities.

This role sits at the intersection of scientific leadership and operational excellence. On one side, you will develop technical teams through hands-on people leadership, technical governance, and deep domain judgment about what rigorous clinical and scientific delivery work looks like. On the other, you will keep delivery on track across a growing portfolio, resourcing projects effectively as we scale, and partnering across functions to solve problems before they reach customers.

Our Science organization leads Unlearn’s efforts to build new capabilities across machine learning, statistics, and AI tools that help our teams create and deliver digital twin solutions to customers. This first-of-its-kind role at Unlearn will be responsible for scaling the use of agents for core business problems and deliver impact in efficiency and extensibility. Successful AI Engineers at Unlearn will be entrepreneurial in their approach; feeling a strong sense of end-to-end ownership of their mission, they collaborate heavily and investigate broadly to find the right tools and techniques to help their teams succeed.

We are seeking a seasoned, mission-driven Engagement Director to bring structure, visibility, and cross-functional leadership to how we deliver our services and products. We are looking for a leader who drives clarity and momentum across the company and can lead cross-functional delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.

The Engagement Director owns the customer relationship after contract signature. They translate sponsor priorities into terms the delivery team can act on, hold the account to its contracted commitments, and surface expansion opportunities for the commercial team to pursue.

Senior Clinical Data Scientists at Unlearn build world-class data products that underpin advances in machine learning for clinical research. Working in close collaboration with machine learning scientists, engineers, clinical scientists, and product partners, they transform complex clinical data into high-quality, well-understood datasets tailored for modeling and other downstream applications. The role spans multiple disease areas and data sources, requiring strong software practices, careful data curation, and the ability to quickly develop clinical domain expertise. In addition to internal development, Clinical Data Scientists often work in forward-deployed settings, partnering directly with clients to ensure Unlearn’s solutions are appropriately tailored to real-world study designs.

Applied ML Scientists lead Unlearn’s work to develop state-of-the-art ML approaches for generating Digital Twins – probabilistic models of a patient’s future health outcomes given knowledge of their current and past medical history. Applied ML Scientists at Unlearn come from a wide range of disciplines, and have honed their ML expertise through their previous experience conducting novel and impactful research at top academic and industrial labs or their previous work delivering ML and data-science products in highly ambiguous and challenging commercial settings. Successful Applied ML Scientists at Unlearn are entrepreneurial in their approach; feeling a strong sense of end-to-end ownership of their mission, they investigate broadly to find the right tools and techniques to help their teams succeed.
