Prathyusha Duraibabu

Prathyusha Duraibabu is a strategic leader with decades of experience building and scaling companies from early commercialization through public markets. Her expertise spans financial management, international team building, operational infrastructure, and SEC compliance, positioning her to accelerate Unlearn’s mission to transform clinical development with AI. Most recently, as CFO at Sangamo Therapeutics, Prathyusha built the financial and operational infrastructure to support the company’s strategic evolution, leading all financial activities while establishing teams across FP&A, controllership, audit, procurement, and compliance. Prior to that, she spent nine years at Pacific Biosciences, where she was instrumental in the company’s IPO, product commercialization, and international expansion, supporting multiple capital raises and scaling operations to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business. Throughout her career, Prathyusha has built and scaled organizations through strategic execution, raising capital, managing investor relations, optimizing operations, and developing high-performing teams. Her approach integrates financial discipline with operational rigor, ensuring organizations have both the resources and capabilities to achieve their mission. Prathyusha earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree with honors from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Business Administration from San Jose State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the board of Organogenesis Holdings Inc., where she provides governance and strategic oversight. A recognized voice on leadership and talent development, she has spoken at forums including the MIT Sloan CFO Summit on building inclusive, high-performing organizations.
